Privacy Policy
TrueLinq (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates tQlendar, a shared calendar app for tracking daily routines. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:
- Account information — when you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive identifiers such as your name, email address, and a unique user ID from the sign-in provider.
- Calendar content — calendars you create, field definitions, daily entries, notes, and related metadata you enter in the app.
- Sharing information — email addresses of collaborators you invite to a shared calendar.
- Device & usage data — basic technical information needed to run the service (for example, app version, crash diagnostics, and authentication tokens), processed through our cloud providers.
2. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
- To store, sync, and display your calendars and daily entries across devices.
- To let you share calendars with people you invite.
- To provide reports and summaries based on data you enter.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
- Collaborators you invite can see the calendars and entries you share with them.
- Service providers such as Google Firebase (authentication and cloud database) process data on our behalf to operate the app.
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service.
4. Data storage & security
Your account and calendar data are stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure (including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
5. Data retention
We keep your account and calendar data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited information for legal, security, or dispute-resolution reasons.
6. Your rights & choices
- You can access and update calendar content inside the app.
- You can remove collaborators from calendars you own.
- You can request account and data deletion using our Delete Account page or by emailing us.
- Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability). Contact us to exercise these rights.
7. Children’s privacy
tQlendar is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
8. Third-party services
Sign-in is provided by Google and/or Apple. Their privacy policies also apply to authentication. Cloud services are provided by Google Firebase. Please review their policies for more detail on how they process data.
9. International users
If you use tQlendar from outside the country where our servers or providers operate, your information may be processed in other countries that may have different data-protection rules.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
